Looks like EU is getting tired of “democracy” in Ukraine. 3 years ago EU supported ANTI-constitutional coup in Ukraine, tried to keep its eyes closed and ears plugged when official Kiev started killing and throwing in prison all its political opponents and even started civil war in Donbass (against the people who had referendum under Ukrainian bullets and with over 80% agreed not to have anything to do with ugly Ukrainian future). And Western Media has been doing its best to cover the truth.
Today the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a resolution on the new Ukrainian law on education. This controversial law has already attracted harsh criticism from Ukraine's neighboring states.
"The new Ukrainian education act does not appear to strike an appropriate balance between the official language and the languages of national minorities," the resolution read.
Out of 110 lawmakers, as many as 82 parliamentarians voted for the document

as stated by the Advisory Committee on the Framework Convention: "Language is an essential component of individual and collective identity. For many persons belonging to national minorities, language is one of the main factors of their minority identity and identification." Thus, the result will be assimilation, not integration.
"In particular, the new law entails a heavy reduction in the rights previously recognized to 'national minorities' concerning their own language of education," PACE said.

A few days ago:
"Hungary will block all steps within the European Union that would represent a step forward in Ukraine's European integration process in the spirit of the Eastern Partnership program," "We can guarantee that all this will be painful for Ukraine in future," Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs has announced.
