Yesterday, the 3rd stage of the Tour de France was won by an American.

First time a 4th of July stage has ever been won by an American.

Farrar gives U.S. a stage win on July 4 - Cycling- NBC Sports

    Congratulations Tyler Farrar!

First time EVER that an American has won it on the 4th of July. Kinda appropriate, don't ya think?
