I've been hearing that China is the real threat--for one reason or another--since I was a little girl. They are building Empire. They are taking their time. They won't bomb us; they will simply own us. But considering how different our cultural world views are, I cannot imagine how they will inherently change us. Will both cultures influence the other? Does it seem that has already begun to happen? I see China allowing Western dress and fun, some limited capitalism, a growing middle class, etc. In what ways are we becoming more Eastern?
