Dunno much about Alexander’s ranking in the pantheon of today’s Hollyweird airheads. My guess is he was given a shot or two at the coveted ‘leading man’ status in his earlier days, couldn’t cut it, and settled instead into the ranks of the character actors, generally smaller roles and paychecks than the stars who green-light movie projects.

Know nothing either about a game show gig but some of those hosts pull in millions for not a hell of a lot of work over just a few months of a year.
