Los Angeles Times endorsed California governor Brown for re-election, Tuesday, 10/21, somewhere on the editorial page. Far more prominently noted was the Alaska governor's race, where they do probably have snow, already. Snow can often become water, even in California. Some of that even fills pre-planned aqueducts, for Los Angeles area.

Violence against women emerges as key campaign issue in Alaska - LA Times

California aside, Alaska seems to rank third in the nation in cases of violence against women. The issue arising in the state's national guard has created a more likely negative coat-tails effect for the occasional one or more of the GOP, able to be located, to answer polling questions(?). Democrats are even more difficult to locate, apparently. That now creates the finding that actually, the Independent seems to be winning hands down(?). LA Times has previously noted that the Democrats are actually not running in the current Alaska Governor's race. So over in the Senate race, one organization, Rasmussen, has two polls with different results. At first, GOP Sullivan is ahead. More recently, GOP Sullivan is way less ahead.

So in State of Alaska, anyone notes that National Organization of Women is even advising those in the more threatening, war-against-women environments, to find online or other means of voting.

Anyone would say that any "GOP-friendly" election environment, likely no longer applies in State of Alaska.

Holy toledo! Can't his nurses keep him away from the computer? How many hours a day do they give patients at Bellevue for crying out loud?

So anyone notices that the Republican War On Women is not overblown. It is central to GOP administration in Alaska state government. Violence again women is of no concern to at least three message board posters, and it is not even clear if the Palins are still at it or not.
