Check your incoming voltage with a multi meter if you know how. If you have undersized wiring or low voltage coming into your compressor it will definitely do this. The next step would be to check everything on the compressor physically. See if the motor still spins freely, see if any wiring got clipped in some way etc.If all seems well get back to me.
If the compressor crank case is too cold, the oil may keep it from starting up. Mine is like that on cold mornings or winter days. I repeatedly plug and unplug it quickly, or turn a heater on it, or put it out in the sun.

I have welders and torches , so if is to short ,I can cutoff the ends and weld them into the middle .
