"ageing" is the spelling preferred and commonly used in UK, whereas "aging" is the shorter version, specific to US. Assuming that is what you are talking about.

Communicate in English using English words .
Not simplified nasty versions just to suit poorly educated Americans .

The fact that you only assumed that is what I referred to suggests that some other words also gave you problems .Unsurprising .
