Afghanistan to back Pakistan if wars with US: Karzai

Sat, Oct 22 2011

(Reuters) - Afghanistan would support Pakistan in case of military conflict between Pakistan and the United States, Afghan President Hamid Karzai said in an interview to a private Pakistani TV channel broadcast on Saturday.
(Sorry, I'm not allowed to post url)

After ten years of war, US has created such a puppet ally in Afghanistan.

My concern is that the Middle East would cut off air space to America. Pakistan has already cut off 2 major truck routes to Afghanistan this week. Those Middle Eastern countries may appear to be weak individually but together they could be a force to be reckoned with. Pakistan has about 100 nuclear war heads and Afghanistan has a army and equipment provide by the U.S. and we are still giving both countries foreign aid.

Look how well we've done in Iraq at one point we were fighting 1,500 terrorists in dresses and sandals. How many years does it take to track down a handful of terrorists? Forever that's how long we'll never win in the Middle East. Those countries are ready to unite and kick our butts anyway they can. Our American politicians have opened up a can of worms than will prove to be deadly to the American people in America.

The remarks were in sharp contrast to recent tension between the two neighbors over cross-border raids, and Afghan accusations that Pakistan was involved in killing the chief Afghan peace envoy, former Afghan president Burhanuddin Rabbani, by a suicide bomber on September 20.

"God forbid, If ever there is a war between Pakistan and America, Afghanistan will side with Pakistan," he said in the interview to Geo television.

"If Pakistan is attacked and if the people of Pakistan needs Afghanistan's help, Afghanistan will be there with you."
