I'm in the process of reading the book. It's surprisingly balanced. For example, Woodward states that he believes it was a huge mistake for Comey to reveal the contents of the Fusion dossier during the same briefing in which they showed Trump the intelligence revealing Russia's interference in the election.

The personally embarrassing allegations in the dossier were henceforth forever linked in Trump's mind with the hostile attack on our country by a foreign adversary, causing Trump to deny the reality of Russia's interference to this day.
