Without saying a word about how Britain decided to join us, regardless of the Yahoo headline...

I was posting on a local forum yesterday (the one I used to post on regularly) when someone asked me if I had heard of the Downing Street Memo. It was as if there was proof positive that Bush lied about Saddam and WMDs. When I read the memo (whether it is authentic or not is another question).... it seemed to contradict itself.... On the one hand, doubts are expressed about the veracity of intelligence concerning WMDs (which the liberal focus on), then later, different "what if" scenarios are discussed that have Saddam using WMDs (which the liberals ignore). Seems to me that the Downing Street memo, if authentic, can be used to argue that the Bush administration and the Blair administration were in fact convinced or at least very concerned about the existence of Iraqi WMDs.
