The Problem: How long and where will "the wall" be built? No one, seems to know or care. The wall is a metaphor, a a barrier to protect our border but in no way is the be all, end all to prevent illegal entry into the US.

The Bigger Problem: Trump's divisive rhetoric well before the election in November last, which continues even to today. He can't get out of his own way, and his advisors seem to be as inept in diplomacy as is he.

The Solution: Fire NIelsen; have the Army Corp of Engineers lay out the part of the border which needs a physical barrier, and in the blueprint, the areas which can effectively be guarded by boots on the ground with technology, drones and air power.

Pelosi & Scuhmer need to understand Trump is a two-year old and lay out in a news conference how much of a wall is complete, and where a wall will be effective.

All Businessmen know the "80/20 Rule." It applies to a large number of situations. In this case, I guarantee that 80% of the illegal (non-entry point) border crossings occur at 20% of the border (1500 miles). Much of the border is physically impassable due to great distances or geological impediments. There is NO QUESTION that our border forces know exactly where the "wall" can be most efficacious. Will it stop every illegal border crossing? Of course not, but it can prevent 80% of them, which is good enough.

As for taxes paid by illegals, there is no question that some are paid, especially payroll taxes (FICA and Medicare). Also, sadly, many of the payers will be unable to collect when the time comes. But on balance, this is but a tiny portion of the BILLIONS paid by our Federal, State, and local governments, and thousands of local school districts to feed, clothe, house, educate, and medically treat those in the country illegally.

And don't forget, under the Earned Income Tax Credit, MOST of the people in question are eligible for a "refund" of taxes they never actually paid. So the net of taxes paid by them may be less than zero.

ALSO NEVER FORGET, the ONLY reason why Democrats tenaciously support the non-existent "rights" of illegals: They fully expect that at some time in the future, they will essentially all be converted to Democrat-voting CITIZENS, and DONALD FUCKING TRUMP is the only thing, right now, standing in the way of this eventuality.

But neither one even needs an ID to purchase them, just the money.
