Since I spend so much time talking about the douche bags in the first video I thought I would spend some talking about the ones like Officer Mathew J. Lyons of the Oceanside Police Department, badge number 1093, who knows the law and has no problem when people refuse to give names just because they are exercising their right to walk down the street carrying a weapon. We need more LEOs like Lyons and less like Harliss and his partner.

I don't know. I think maybe Officer Lyons behaved the way he did because he knew he was being videotaped. It probably helped that the guy was a marine too, marines do tend to be loyal to each other.

I hate cops. I'm not sure exactly why, I just hate them. And I am a conservative, middle-aged, middle-class woman.

Probably because I know that power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

That first cop, what happened to him? I mean, he obviously doesn't have the right temperament to be a cop. He is a walking time bomb. It's just a matter of time before he hurts someone. Oh, wait, he already did, he hurt the guy with the carry permit. Fairly minor injury, it seems. That doesn't make it okay. He'll kill someone sooner or later. He needs to be off the force.
