In moving the pictures of the (better) Presidents out of view, because he could not stand to have to walk by and see them, knowing their disapproval, at least he didn't just tear them down and destroy them for his remorse. Surprised he doesn't hide all the pictures of past presidents, as few if any would approve of him being in that house, much less living there.
