Imagine that President Trump, VP Pence, and everybody in the Constitutional line for the Presidency resigned. Imagine that Congress agreed to end the partisan bullshit by appointing a new President who was totally non-political: an executive with both public and private sector management experience, and no political axe to grind.

Now imagine that that person UNDERSTOOD the U.S. Constitution, and openly stated that he would do nothing more than use all the tools in the executive branch to simply enforce the existing laws in a manner consistent with the Constitution.

QUESTION for the board: What would this generic President be doing that is different from what President Trump is doing now?

Wouldn't he be trying to seal the borders so that no one can come in illegally? Wouldn't be be trying to remove (deport) everyone in the country illegally, starting with the violent criminals?

Seriously, what would the generic President be doing on immigration?

/----/ President Trump has done two things that are unconstitutional.
1. His EO keeping illegal families together in violation of the DemocRATs law.
2. Defeating Hillary when it was her turn.

My point is, Trump has been excoriated from Day 1 for doing nothing more than trying to enforce existing law. If the Leftists have a problem with that, they have to try to change the law. But as part of changing the law, their whack-job base will settle for nothing less than full citizenship for the 30 million or so illegals in the country right now.

And that ain't happening.
