We'll see more and more of these stories. Govt cannot spend money efficiently. And the more they spend, the less efficient is becomes. Katrina is a good example.
Obama and his cronies have flushed over $800B down the crapper with nothing to show for it. Absolutely nothing except a shining record of the failure of Keynesiasm.

There were "cuts" if you want to include shit like "cash for clunkers" and hoising incentives. These did nothing, as such targeted "cuts" do.
"Cutting taxes" is not an answer. It depends on the type of taxes cut. And the "stimulus" mostly spent money or used it on "cuts" that did nothing.
