Had the best QB who ever played the position.

Had a tough swarming physical defesne.

Totally shut down Texas andEarl Campbell

Thats a laugh..

No team from the 70s could beat a top ranked college team from today. Just look at the size of the offensive and defensive lines. In the 70s you had guys who weighed 260-280, now they are 310-320 and much faster and stronger.
Receivers and backs are much faster and stronger too

Both Auburn and Oregon would beat the Steeler teams from the 70s

Oregon is smallish on th OL. Under 290.

They don't run power running plays and execute the option very well. They can put up a lot of points very fast. Speed kills

Will be an interesting game
