Gosh, I feel safer, richer and more optimistic than ever! Let's double that in 2012!! 
Remember the pathetic kid in grade school that DESPERATELY wanted to be hall monitor. Remember how nobody wanted that kid to be hall monitor because we all knew he'd be a pain-in-the-ass and that he'd tell on anyone for the slightest infraction? Remember how pissed that kid was when he wasn't chosen to oversee all hall activities because he just new that if he were in charge, the hallways would be blissful and orderly, just as he envisioned it?
That kid, and all those like him, now run the government.
We are fucked. But happy new year anyway!
