Madam President.
SAY IT!!!
To have congresses support is one step below having the support of San Quentin inmates. The times, the times they are a changin'. Dylan.
Well well well. It's nice to witness this. Finally. But like the old adage, better late than never. I really believe the change of heart is coming about because R's realize they really can't let Clinton near 1600.

I guess you missed the part about how contentious it was, according to the Wall Street Journal, which is at least a legitimate news agency:
Donald Trump Woos Some GOP Lawmakers, Leaves Others Cold
"""In one of the morning’s most confrontational exchanges, Mr. Trump chastised Sen. Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) for criticizing him publicly, saying that up until now he hadn’t personally attacked Mr. Flake but could start to, according to someone familiar with the discussions.
Mr. Flake referred to himself as the “other senator from Arizona—the one who wasn’t captured,” in a reference to Mr. McCain’s time as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, which Mr. Trump has diminished. Mr. Flake said he wanted to be able to support Mr. Trump, but found it hard to do so amid the candidate’s stream of incendiary comments.
A spokesman for Mr. Flake confirmed that the meeting’s exchange, as reported first by the Washington Post, was accurate.
When Mr. Trump blamed the media for distorting his comments, Mr. Flake responded that he was referring to direct quotes, according to the person familiar with the exchange. Mr. Flake wasn’t immediately available for comment.
Mr. Trump also belittled Sen. Mark Kirk, the Illinois Republican locked in a tight re-election race who rescinded his endorsement of Mr. Trump last month. Mr. Trump called Mr. Kirk a “loser” and predicted he would lose his race, according to someone familiar with the discussion.
Mr. Trump also said he believed Mr. Kirk privately supported him, but felt he had to publicly disavow him, according to two people familiar with his remarks. Mr. Kirk said he didn’t have any reaction to Mr. Trump’s comments and predicted that Mr. Trump wouldn't win in Democratic-leaning Illinois.
Mr. Trump also faced some tough questions earlier Thursday from House Republicans, who pressed him on some of his most provocative stances, including his early comments that many Hispanics crossing the southern border are rapists and criminals. Rep. Cresent Hardy, a Nevada Republican facing one of the tightest re-election races in the country this fall, asked Mr. Trump about how his campaign style would register in swing states such as Nevada, which has a large Hispanic population."""

Pffffffffft. The Wall Street Journal is part of the Never Trump crowd. As a matter of fact the editor has such a hate on for Trump that he wants Trump to lose so badly that it punishes the voters that backed him.
Imagine that. A Republican wanting to punish the electorate because he didn't like the candidate. Piss on him. Bret Stephens can go fuck himself. Forever.
Would you like to post some links to negative articles about him or just blather?
I stated the facts from the article and it has been corroborated that he got into contentious arguments with those mentioned above. It was not a coronation.

Breitbart is a blog, written by bloggers who most likely are funded by right wing organizations. Find a real source.
