Thanks Foxy! We roast the pigs inside a 650 gallon fuel oil tank we modified. We split it in half horizontally and added steel wire baskets that hold 50 pounds of charcoal each to the long sides. roller bearings support the pointy end of the spit while an electric motor does the spinning. With the lid closed, we can reduce the cooking time from 11 hours to 8! Plus, we don't have to maintain a fire for coals, we just add more charcoal as necessary.
