Some might be surprised to learn that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s official campaign site contains a number of expressions of faith in God, by Bobby himself and by some of his supporters, including two of the videos that are posted on the site. Just today, the Kennedy campaign sent out an email to supporters titled "Moms Prayer Politics" that noted that "Few prayers are more potent than that of a mother."
The email also announced that tonight the campaign is holding a Zoom event titled "A Mother's Prayer Roundtable" in which Nichole Shanahan, Cheryl Hines (Kennedy's wife), and two other prominent members of the campaign will discuss sources of faith and spirituality. The event has been organized by the Kennedy 24 Faith-Based Engagement Team.
I suspected that Kennedy was friendly to religious faith when he spoke last year at Hillsdale College, a conservative religious college, and praised the college for standing up for freedom and for teaching good character to its students.
