I don't want to derail this thread but would be glad to have a civil and substantive discussion about the WW 2era and / or the Holocaust.

No serious historian would write something so replete with hyperbolic cliche's and blatant anti German bigotry as your Post # 175.

I can, not sure if you can based upon your lack of education.
Communism and Nazism are fairly comparable worldviews with only minor differences.
Both are centralized governments controlled by a ruling class, murdered its own citizens to maintain control and wealth, socialism at their cores, both aim for world domination, vilified a segment of their own societies to unite national pride, had an official state run youth programs, installed puppet governments in conquered lands, censorship of anything deemed a threat, death camps, and both rise out of the ashes of problems of the early 20th century.

Education is a wonderful thing.

You described any capitalist country(US included), which includes any fascist and nazi country.
I'll give you an example of how communist oriented and fascist oriented countries differ and given your level of education, I'll make it understandable to kindergarten children.

A shepherd is tending a flock of sheep. The shepherd is helped by a sheepdog, a dog that is a friend of man.
A wolf follows the flock from the forest and wants to steal and kill a sheep or several sheep.
For a person like you, who by virtue of his education does not see the difference between a communist and a Nazi, both the dog and the wolf are the same creature - well, they both have fur, four legs, two ears and a mouth with sharp teeth, both eat meat, both are predators.
An educated person like you doesn't understand that one creature, a wolf, is ready to kill the cattle, which is the source of the shepherd's livelihood, moreover, the wolf is ready to kill the shepherd himself, if given the opportunity.
On the other hand, a sheepdog, so similar in appearance to the wolf, is ready to defend the property of the shepherd and is even willing to sacrifice his life to save him.
A kindergarten child can see the difference, but a person who is later indoctrinated in a bourgeois school and on television cannot see the difference.
