Helping the inlaws clean out the attic and came across by father in laws (he passed a few years ago) box that he stored his stuff from his service from WWII. In that box we found a revolver with no hammer and a trigger that swings out. No trigger guard but it does have a lever type safety on it
The makings on it are:
On the top it says hammerless and the other word might say centennial, but it is difficult to read. On the side of the barrel is an N with a crown over it
It is in incredible shape.
Probably a 22 with a five shot chamber
On the grip is an imprint of the profile of Mercury
I think it's a velodog.
Any idea of how to tell what year this might of been made or where to get more info on it?
