Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman “has no work restrictions and can work full duty in public office” as the Democratic Senate candidate recovers from a debilitating stroke, his primary care physician said.

Fetterman “is recovering well from his stroke and his health has continued to improve,” wrote Dr. Clifford Chen of Duquesne, Pennsylvania, in a note shared by the candidate’s campaign Wednesday morning.

“He spoke intelligently without cognitive deficits” during a follow-up visit on Friday, Chen wrote. “Occasionally words he will ‘miss’ which seems like he doesn’t hear the word but it is actually not processed properly.”

The doctor’s assessment came as Fetterman’s auditory processing ability has drawn questions about the candidate’s health in the late stages of the campaign.

In recent interviews, Fetterman has used a teleprompter to provide live closed captioning in order to fully understand the questions being asked of him. The Democrat will use the same visual aid next week in his one and only debate against Dr. Mehmet Oz, a Republican backed by former President Donald Trump.

“Unfortunately for Dr. Oz, I’m ready to serve and continue to get better every single day,” Fetterman said in a news release.

but then again - it's not like the letter claimed that 'if he were elected, he will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the senate ' like donny's physician did.... oh wait, that doctor CONfessed that trump told him to write that.

Remember this is a state described as Pittsburgh and Philadelphia separated by civilization. Every election is the same here- will the libs be able to steal enough votes in these 2 Urban Shitholes to outpoll the civilized part of the state.

Absolutely they will , I believe I remember seeing whole voting precincts vot for democrats without a single vote for a republican in the Philly area. No way that can happen.

I just watched the ONLY Fetterman-Oz debate, in full.

While neither candidate would get a passing grade for answering the question that was actually asked, Fetterman came across as an idiot. Not only did he contradict overt, well-known positions of his from the past (fracking, immigration, probation), but at least half of the things he said literally made no sense.

And they were not the sort of mistakes that would have come from his stroke; he simply cannot articulate a position clearly...something that might be useful in a fucking United States Senator(!). Or maybe he hasn't given the issues sufficient thought to have a coherent position.
