Shell to close 1,000 gas stations to focus on EV charging deployment

The EV train is dying for loss of power. Most major automakers, realizing their sales are plummeting, are now shifting production to hybrids. People saw the disastrous performance of EVs and charging stations last winter. Even the electric trucks like Tesla has been incapable of beating a hybrid diesel electric truck.
Sales have slowed but more than 2.3 million will be sold this year in America and near 17 million worldwide.

I never bought Shell gas, since I saw an article about Shell sponsoring genocide in Nigeria around 30 years ago. But that doesn't necessarily make Shell worse than the other oil corporations. All of them doing the same stuff is a reasonable assumption.
