I have a close neighbor that's 60 yards away. That's 180 feet. It's 20 yards to my cat looking at me like she's hungry, but it's really her coon buddy that's hungry. Ya know, 20 yards ain't that close in between houses, I've lived in urban environments where you might could spit on your neighbor's house from the window.
I like this area. I strung up a clothesline for my closest neighbor because he asked me to.
It gets use almost daily, and there ain't no HOA Gestapo coming around. As for pools? Most people have their own.
