Fox News reports that the appeals court in Fort Belvoir has decided that the court can forcibly shave murderous jihadist Nidal Hasan.

The court also ruled that Col. Gregory Gross, the trial judge, properly found that the federal Religious Freedom Restoration Act does not give Hasan the right to have a beard while in uniform at trial. The court specifically upheld Gross’ previous ruling that Hasan did not prove his beard was an expression of a sincerely held religious belief. The appeals court said that even if Hasan did grow a beard for a sincere religious reason, compelling government interests justified Gross’ order requiring Hasan to comply with Army grooming standards.

The appeals court also upheld previous contempt of court findings against Hasan. Starting in June, he showed up to court for pretrial hearings with a beard six times, and was fined $1,000 for each instance.

Hasan’s attorneys have said they will appeal the ruling to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, which means Hasan’s court-martial remains on hold.

Well, good on the appeals court, now if only the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces would refuse to hear the case so we can get on with this thing and start building the gallows.

About 160 victims and family members are speaking out about this administration’s classification of the murder of unarmed members of the military at Fort Hood on November 5th, 2009 as workplace violence. Their first action is the release of this 14 minute video of their testimony about Hasan’s actions that day;

They point out that the accused shooter, Maj. Nidal Hasan, consulted by email with top al-Qaida leader Anwar al-Awlaki about whether an attack against American soldiers was justified to “protect our brothers.” Until his death in an airstrike in 2011, Yemen-based Awlaki was considered one of the United States’ top enemies.

The shooting for Hasan “was his jihad,” Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford, who was shot five times that day, said in the video.

Another victim, Shawn Manning, said that the soldiers at the readiness center “were killed and wounded by a domestic enemy, someone who was there that day to kill soldiers to prevent them from deploying. If that’s not an act of war or an act of terrorism I don’t know what is.”

The Copmmander-in-Chief should have righted this wrong long ago. Workplace violence???? It was a terrorist attack and everyone knows it!

Pentagon hides behind 6th Amendment in Hasan case

by Jonn Lilyea

We talked the other day about the 160 victims of Nidal Hasan in the Fort Hood murders of 14 people who’ve banded together to fight against the Pentagon’s reticence to label the attack as terror, preferring the completely ridiculous “workplace violence” as if Nasan was a disgruntled employee instead of a jihadist who sought the […] Full blog @ This ain't Hell, but you can see it from here » Blog Archive » Pentagon hides behind 6th Amendment in Hasan case

Far out of my lane so presented with little comment.

Stay of Proceedings Issued in Accused Fort Hood Shooter Case @ http://www.kcentv.com/story/1988425...ccused-fort-hood-shooter-case&r=cat&cat=18,23,

The Army’s highest court, the Unites States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (CAAF) has granted a stay of proceedings in the case against accused Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan.

Hopefully Jonn will dump this and do a proper post, but last I heard he was stuck in traffic and this pisses me off enough to risk his wrath.
