How does Donald Trumps past affect his presidency?

His past is why I voted for him.

Trump is the type of politician the Founding Fathers envisioned when they wrote the US Constitution. A man would work in the private sector and become successful. Then after achieving something in his life would serve the country for a few years. Then go back to private life.

Today, we have congressmen who have served their entire adult life as politicians!! They know nothing about the real world. They get rich by doling out favors to their cronies.

Donald Trump's past plays a key role in forming the person whom he is today. It drives the ways in which he comports himself, interacts with people and views the world in which we live.

Donald Trump is a fine example of the saying that, with rare exception, whom one is by the time one is about five, or ten or something around those ages, defines the core of whom one will be, what one's character will be, for the rest of one's life. Trump was a bellicose hooligan who chose "all the wrong ways" to gain approbation from his peers and/or superiors as a child, and at 70, he's no different. But for the fact that he has never been not wealthy -- a state of being that inspires social climbers to inure themselves to him -- he is nothing but social climber, that is, he's a charlatan who purposefully palters so as to gain acceptance among members of social cohorts that he construes as the ones into which he'd like to be welcomed.

For instance, though owning and operating golf/country clubs is profitable, the fact remains that Trump entered that line of business because he couldn't get admitted to the one's to which he sought membership. His doing so was little other than an act of vengeance and retaliation. He had the wealth to join, but he lacked the good character that one must have to join the clubs he wanted to join. Trump's country clubs are nice, but, seriously, nobody who gains admittance to the one's Trump could not would choose to join his club instead. (Obviously, some people belong to multiple clubs, but that's a different matter.)

Why? Because membership in Donald's clubs, as with all his organizations and endeavors, is purely transactional. With regard to his clubs, if one has the money, one can join. That is the beginning and end of commonality necessarily to join a Trump club. For one who have the money, what is the point of that being all one can be assured of having in common with most or all other members? Everyone with that kind of money is well aware that there are plenty of similarly situated individuals with whom they'd just as soon never cross paths, much less do so in what is supposed to be a relaxing setting.

Hello everyone!
I'm from germany and currently writing an exam about Donald Trump. I still need some material from the people that voted for him (or those who did not).
And I thought the best way would be to ask in a forum.
So what do you think about the past of Donald Trump? All of his TV and movie appearances or his own reality show.
Feel free to use the poll if you don't want to answer in text.
Does it strenghten your support or do you think that it's some kind of disadvantage that someone with a past like this is now president?
Please let me know your thoughts :) and tell me if its okay if I'm using your answers for my exam.
I'm very excited for your answers.
(and please try to ignore minor grammar mistakes)

You just need a few words and pictures are needed.

Gee... The Wrong man to vote for or be involved with.

I've been fascinated by this from the start. The man is clearly a failure. He has failed at everything he has ever done and now he failing as president.

If he had not inherited $200-$500 Million, he would not be where he is. If you look at him, his kids, Kushner - not one of them has earned their fortunes.

And yet, his fans will tell you he's a big success.

Go figure.

About Hillary - The right has tried to impanel a grand jury on her for 30 years and not been successful. It took only 6 months with trump. He's a criminal. He's always been a criminal and he will always be a criminal.

And yes, it IS illegal. That means he is committing treason by not upholding the oath he took at president.

Easy to live well, when you have 900M in carryover write-offs

They were bank loans, He lost/stole the money,
And it claims loans as some asset lost.
Just seeing the Douche Taxes Returns alone. The Douche goes to jail.
Or lives in Russia. Never returning to the USA. That be a great MAGA!
Really, the IRS needs more investigators working the 1%.
Like The Douche, Manafort, and likes. FFS! Chasing Clinton Foundation
is fine, but they never find anything. As all the 501c paperwork is available.

Yes, Trump's current approach to the NFL, which he surely blames for the USFL not "taking off," seems to reflect as another illustration of Trump's vindictiveness.

About his taxes, I read that he has settled so many lawsuits with women and parents of young girls and pays out UUUge hush money. Wouldn't surprise me and I wonder if the Russia investigation will force him to make his taxes public.

I do believe his taxes would show even more criminal activity than we already know about.

But still, they need to abuse more. It's about for some, wanting the thrill of taking it away from girls/ females.
Where they enjoying it, is out of the question. Just serve my needs. A live sex masturbation toy.

Tough times to be a leftard....dark days indeed......here's a song for you to brood by as you learn to accept the fact that leftardism is taking an ass kicking.......

Not a person on earth that has not done something they wish they had not done in the past.

true enough. however, when that person exhibits the same defective behavior- time & time again... then that person is defective & in this case, unfit to hold office. especially as POTUS.

Not a person on earth that has not done something they wish they had not done in the past.
No denying that; however, plenty of people are (1) willing to "own" that they erred in various ways, (2) remorseful of their errant words and deeds, and (3) as a consequence of those two things, particularly when their regret be sincere, diligent about not repeating the same types blunders. Most people's blunders do not achieve widespread advertency, whereas some, and sometimes many, committed by willfully public figures occasionally do, as well they should for if one serves the public, the public has the right to demonstrable evidence that one has learned from one's mistakes, which is possible to do only if one acknowledges that one f*cked-up in the first place. After all, evolving in that way is largely all that's expected of one. That is the limit of the expectation because we all have made mistakes in our past.

With regard to the expected behavior pattern noted above -- that of blunder, atone, refrain from repeating the blunder -- one can of that process take a transactional view or a holistic approach. Taking the former approach, one will abjure transgressing in the same way with the same individual; however, one will consider that doing/saying the same thing(s) to others do not constitute making the same mistake again. In contrast, taking a holistic approach, one will extend to all the respect of not against them committing the same genre of offense.

It's worth noting that some transgressions are somewhat transactional with regard to whom they offend. For instance one cannot commit adultery against anyone but one's spouse; thus one need not be concerned about doing so to others. On the other hand, one can palter to myriad others, and to do so repeatedly -- to both specific individuals and in general -- is both temerarious and turpitudinous.

Donald Trump's past checks all the boxes for a great President. A solid all American family, a long track record of success in private life and a true appreciation of America, the country that allowed him to succeed. That is why he puts America and Americans first.

Contrast that with the sad jumbled mystery that was Obama's past. A father that left, a single clueless mother. Passed around to Grandparents and finally raised by devout Communist Frank Marshall Davis. Oh what was his real name? Barry Sotero? Where was he born? Hawaii? Kenya? Indonesia? Who knows? How about his academic records? All sealed? Why? Oh well, how about his friends and close associates? What Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorn, Tony Rezko? Good Lord! What church did he attend faithfully for 20 years? Jeremiah "God Damn America" Wright?" WTF??

Obama's past is better suited for the King of Somalia and not the POTUS.

Lots of celebrities run for office worldwide. Remember Peter Sodann (lol)? Here in the US we like out celebrities so it makes sense they run for office and win. We’ve had multiple celebrity presidents. I personally don’t think celebrity hurts a persons chances I think it probably increases them if anything.
