You People Who Think Separation of Church and State is Possible.......How Do You Reconcile Abortion??

The United States Constitution - read it.
Have you ever heard of the Declaration Of Independence?

The Democrat leadership isn't Christian in action, and they're the ones running the show. They're pushing the atheist agenda. Besides that, about 70% of atheists vote Democrat compared to 15% who lean Republican. The Democrat Party has removed all mention of God from their platform, starting in 2020.
Democrats do not seek an ‘atheist’ government – to claim otherwise is a lie.

And He never intended for His followers to seize earthly political power to achieve that
Depends on how you define 'seize'. If you mean, a violent coup, then no. That's antithetical to His message. If you mean gain control by convincing, then yes.

You like it for now. You won't like it when the Marxist atheists take over, which we are headed for because dunderheads ignore the path we're on.
I love living here now. If you don't like it, you're more than welcome to get the fuck out.

I also notice you cowardly responded to only one portion of my post. Let me try again, and let's see if you've got the balls to answer this:

If you had your way, and this was a "christian" nation, what would happen to those who refused to subscribe to christianity, were vocal in their opposition to it, refused to live by the ten commandments and denounced God and Jesus Christ?

Sure you like it now because of all the hard work we conservative Christians have done to battle atheism over the years.

As for the second part, I've already listed in the referenced OP how things would be handled in a Christian country. But I'll repeat it for you. People would be allowed to practice their hedonistic atheism in the privacy of their apartments, but would not be able to purvey it using the public airways, media or social media.

Here's the thing, Hoss: If conservative christians have been battling Atheism over the years to make this a christian nation, it's pretty clear that they've been complete failures at accomplishing that. So, ask yourself why? Why? Because Americans don't want to live in a "christian" country...

So, you would essentially gut the 1st Amendment?

And you didn't answer the question. What would happen, under your extremist zealot regime, to someone who "purveyed" their non-christian beliefs over the public airwaves, media or social media? Or in the town square?

I'm not sure how to take trolls like Mushmouth. I don't think they expect to be taken seriously - they're just here for the negative attention. But do they represent any real trends in the nation? Are people really thinking of tilting to fascist theocracy? Sure hope not.

There are a number of reasons the Marxist left is where they are in the country. One is the influence of the leftwing media changing the mores, normalizing perversion, disregarding human life, mainstreaming evil, and infiltrating the apparatus. It's been a gradual infiltration, aided by dunderheads who don't see what is happening and go along, even abet it.

The idea of an AOC or of trans bathrooms would have been unspeakable 50 years ago. Now you people wave it all in, treat it as normal.

How do we handle people who want to purvey porn in the public arena? You act like there have never been controls over peddling destructive garbage.

You people might remember my excellent thread calling for the US to become a Christian Nation It’s Time to Formally Declare America A Christian Nation. In it, I made the airtight case that separation of church and state is impossible, has never happened, and cannot ever happen, and should be amended out of the Constitution. Let's face it. The framers made a mistake, just like they did in calling blacks 3/5 human.

Separation of Church and state is possible with most laws: No littering, no running a red light, etc. But there are some laws, the most important ones, where separation is impossible without creating an atheist state. In order to have actual separation of church and state, you have to have laws which the Catholic Church and other Christians can't follow in good conscience. In other words, atheist laws. Therefore abortion and gay marriage cannot be reconciled with separation of church and state without creating an atheist state. Leftist atheists say the current reversal of Roe v Wade violates separation of church and state because it pushes religious values. I say allowing abortion makes the state tantamount to an atheist state.

I would also add the Supreme Court declared atheism a religion in 1961, so why are we favoring the religion of atheism over the Christian religions? Again, separation of church and state is impossible, so let's scrap it and done with it.

I challenge anyone in the forum who claim to want separation of church and state (probably most people) tp reconcile the issues of abortion and gay marriage with the First Amendment without promoting the religion of atheism. I guarantee no one will be able to do it.
We know that the religious are against abortions..............except in the case of the con-venience of the sperm donor.

Like frogs in boiling water, you people wave in Marxism. They've convinced the unintelligent and the gullible that common sense and decent values are 'fascsism'.

"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" (Isa. 5:20.)

Mashmouth's one of USMB's more vocal extremist zealots. He's no better, and is quite possibly worse, than left-wing extremists, because he attempts to disguise his zealotry as something virtuous...

Give it up crackpot. I'm more adamantly anti-Marxist than I am anti-theocracy. They're essentially the same in my view.
Fools think it is possible to have neither. That's been the whole thesis of these two threads.

That's the easiest way to answer if you have no rebuttal, I guess.

Um, you should go find some of my posts regarding "trans bathrooms". You'd realize how fucking stupid you're making yourself look...

I said nothing about porn. Interesting that's where your thought process took you, though.

I was quite clear: Someone is vocal on social media, in the town square, and everywhere else about denouncing christinaity, catholicism, Jesus Christ and God. Would they face any sort of penalty in your "christian nation"?
