You do realize that "garbage" the "crazy people hoard" is actually recycling that those plants send to China to be made into new product? Not only is it causing the recycled stuff to pile up, but now, some of them are having to turn to putting the stuff in landfills, putting a strain on the landfill and resulting in a loss of income for the recycle plant?

China didn't close the door completely, they just reduced how much they will take, and are requiring it to be even cleaner than it was.

This was done by China in response to Trump's tariffs.

You say that recycling is fine, but in your OP, you were mocking the recycle plants because they had trash piling up. You DO realize that the reason that is happening is because China has severely limited how much material they will take from us in response to Trump's tariffs, right?

This problem wouldn't exist if Trump hadn't done the tariffs.
