You can't codify Roe into a federal law. But this is what Dems can do instead.

Just like a typical right winger. You think that rights only exist because the state says so.

Well, since the state is the only entity legally allowed to enforce legislation, believing you have a right that legislation prohibits makes that right null and void.

Performing an abortion is prohibited by law in some states, that, for all practical purposes, nullifies your belief that you have the G-d-given right to an abortion.

"We can't sway people with superior reasoning and persuasion, so we'll just hijack and abuse the trappings of the leviathan administrative state in order to get what we want, despite the law of the land."

And these liberoidals wonder why they get called fascists.
Indeed.
I can not find a more fitting example of what a fascist is than are the left-tardz that declare a child is not a child - nor worthy of basic human rights and protections, unless and until the damn thing lives too long and develops past some arbitrarily decided point. . . where-after the lefttarded fascist can't stomach or justify the denial of the fact that it is a child, anymore.

They put the onus on the CHILD to breech their ability to deny it's a child (and humanity) before they will even consider recognizing it as a human being.

By that reasoning, owning or carrying a gun is not a right if a state says it's illegal.

Why would it be futile to attempt to amend The Constitution if, as you claim, voters in every state are overwhelmingly in favor or unlimited abortion on demand?

Who said anything about unlimited abortion on demand?
