YES!

To an extent not seen in a century, America's two major parties have gone to battle over the rules that govern voting — an intensifying fight that threatens to dominate and embitter the country's politics.

Skirmishes along the battle line flared repeatedly this week:

At the Supreme Court, Republican and Democratic lawyers clashed over part of the landmark Voting Rights Act. A court ruling that would broadly define the reach of that law "puts us at a competitive disadvantage relative to Democrats," attorney Michael Carvin, who represented the Arizona Republican Party, bluntly told the justices.

"Politics is a zero-sum game," he said.

Democracy in America is under attack by the Republican Party, a Party which seeks to prevent legal citizens from voting. This effort to suppress the vote of minority citizens - people of color, people of non Western European ancestry and Felons who have already completed their sentence* will be denied the right to express their support for candidates who are empathetic to their needs.

It's clear that the Republican Party has become a party opposed to civil rights and equal opportunities for minorities'; a party which grants the wealth of our nation to the few, and denies to the middleclass, the working poor, the destitute, aged, infirm and women equal justice and an equal share of the GDP; those whose labor produces our nation's wealth.

Voting has already been stolen by the commiecrats.

Unconstitutional as hell.

Dems are desperate to RIG elections they have lost the support of the American people. That's why they are also flooding OUR country with millions of illegals and planning to purchase their votes with OUR tax money. In a righteous world Dems would be in prison for their traitorous crimes.
In a righteous world they would have been thrown out of helicopters.

It's clear that you haven't a single, solitary shred of self-awareness....And probably never have.

What else is clear, oddball, is that you are unable or unwilling to post anything substantive, thoughtful or thought provoking in response to the OP. Now, go away or try to prove the GOP is a party of The BIG TENT, a talking point the GOP claimed they made years ago and was found ludicrous then and even more today.
It's completely substantive....You're so utterly lacking in introspection and self-awareness that you accuse others of doing exactly the things that you do, with your every neurotic and sociopathic post.

I suggest professional help....Seriously.

Amen, I couldn't have described him better.

The republicans have killed democracy in the Senate.

Unfortunately the chance of this getting past the republican non stop filibuster is zero.

The last thing that republicans are going to do is vote for a bill that helps remove the barriers for people to vote.

The republicans put those barriers in place for a reason. They know that very few republicans can win a fair election.

Spot on! The fact is the Republican Party cannot win an election without dark money and dishonest advertisements; the latter being accepted as absolute truths by those biddable voters who fail to even consider the MSM, which has been tarnished by the Conspiracy Theory that they are all fake.

Propaganda has led some people by BIG LIES (lies repeated ad nausea), conspiracy theories, rumors, half-truths and character assassinations to mislead some of the people, all of the time. Noted by the fellow travelers on social media to obviate the truth do to ignorance, greed, hate or fear.

NO ONE is prevented from voting. Show me one case in the entire nation where a legally eligible voter
was denied the right to vote.

More sophistry, lies, and propaganda from the OP.

Please don't use words that you don't understand. Using sophistry as a means to attack the character of anyone when you are unable to write a rebuttal to an OP or post. I'm not angry at you, I pity you.

That response was all that your worthless post warrants.

You're right....Sophists are reasonably clever....You haven't had an original clever thought in the entire time you've been here.

Calling your posts sophistry is actually a compliment

BULLSHIT. Just seeking to prevent people from voting illegally. Just seeking to prevent illegal votes. All you want is unrestricted voting, where anything showing up as a vote is cast, in violation of everything the Carter commission deemed necessary to CONTROL FRAUD.

You know, democrat Jimmy Carter.

If a person can show up at 8AM to punch in for a job, they certainly can show up on ELECTION DAY and cast a vote like we have for 250 years. A vote which can be verified as being legal.

Only idiots like you would try to claim that something we have been doing just fine for 250 years is suddenly somehow unfair and discriminatory towards democrats. :lmao:

And the democrat party does not use dishonest advertisements, or accept dark money?
All of Big Tech and the Government Approved Media backing the leftist Neo-Marxists amounts to de-facto
dishonest advertising and an endless source of "dark money" for the party that's been in a seventy year war
for the soul of America.

So much so that the left has gone fascist by forming alliances with Big Tech and banking firms in an unholy alliance that would make Hitler and Mussolini jealous.

Spot on. The left is currently spinning reality so that just voting in a polling place is racist on it's face.
It is bullshit as you point out.

Voting has already been stolen by the commiecrats.

OMG, they failed to "stop the steal". Ten's of thousand "commiecrats" were able to fix the election, a giant and successful conspiracy in states which trump carried in 2016. Trump was sure the vote in 2016 was rigged too, at least until after midnight when he carried WI, MI and PA as well as Georgia!

Given the fact that another 7 million more votes were cast for Biden this time, what else could it be but a fixed election? The fact that Trump's popularity had never reached 49.9%, and was down in the low 40's on election night, those polls too must have been rigged since Donald was so popular with the "Silent Majority".

I suppose if one side cheats, and the other side doesn't, the one that is completely honest is foolish and won't win elections.

Well then, you should have no problems then showing us how all of this was totally debunked just in the state of Michigan ALONE as just sour grapes?:
