YES! No evictions!! How we benefit from Bidens move

Donald is the Canadian border open yet to us american sportsmen who appreciate all that Canada offers us? I have a few grand set aside for a fishing trip up there. I surely have missed my 3 yearly fishing trips up there.

$20 per hour is NOT a good wage anymore.b that doesn't even sniff lower middle class ANYwhere in the us.
Higher is better but there are other considerations to take into account.
The R party can't accept $15 as a minimum wage.
Can all employers pay $20 an hour with benefits?

Are employers in America's right to work states even viable businesses?

There's no doubt that America's businesses should be viable and able to pay a living wage.
The biggest factor that causes businesses to not pay is related to 'income inequality', which causes non-viable businesses and then failure.

It will go against her credit. Then the complex with get a judgment against her and she could end up with garnishments or liens on her personal property.

Dumb bitch gonna be dumb.
You miss the point. The complex (or the bank) loses the ability to penalize those who don't pay, when the numbers of those who won't pay become a majority or even a large factor. That is how a system begins to break down and fail.

Is not paying becoming a safe choice for America's poor? When or if it is then the system has failed.
Is Biden trying to save the system or make it fail?
I think America must now fail in order to find it's way back.

No Ray, that's wrong. Your country owes you a 'quality of life' that is acceptable to the masses and if it doesn't deliver then people begin to walk away from they system.

Not paying rents is a particularly dangerous way for the people to just say 'fuck it'. If enough do it, the system can no longer survive.

The one thing Trump 'did' get right is that he knew government was corrupt and so he gave orders to act violently against it.

If you're in the business of being a landlord Ray, it's a good time to get out as quickly as possible. Especially if you're a slumlord!
What system can no longer survive? The predatory housing system? No, alternative systems will flourish in other ways. For example, when the Rent/Real Estate Pimp is boycotted to the extent that the only rent allowed will be the space to place structures not owned by the Pimp. Unlike tradition, the space inside the structure will now exclusively belong to the owner of the structure. That structure will be able to go elsewhere if the Pimp gets arrogant.

It will never happen. Too many Americans are concerned about their credit rating because credit is the way of life in this country. Without credit, you are almost a worthless member of our society.

Apparently the D party can't accept a $15.00 minimum wage either because Dementia told Congress don't waste his time sending him such a bill. As confused as he is, even he knows the drastic outcome of doubling the minimum wage in this country.

The people inability to pay back their credit is also a factor in the approaching failure.
But that's a different issue from Americans refusing to pay rents.

How big of a factor are these people who are deciding to not pay. Do any of them have something to lose that they hadn't already lost?

America most likely can't afford a $15 minimum wage unless the very wealthy become convinced that they can.
They 'can', and they will if they want to save the system that made them wealthy.

Depending on your age, different time--different place. Like you when I was young, you were focused on getting your own apartment or house. It was our number one priority for most of us.

However at the time there was what was called the generation gap. Parents and kids were very different from each other. Parents were much more strict as to what went on in their household. When my generation had kids, they formed more of a friendship relationship with their kids instead of a parent/ child one. Kids like the idea of staying at home until they are 40, and the parents welcome it.

No doubt about the friend rather than the parent.
It's a stupid way to raise a kid, you're supposed to teach them how to become an adult, not where to score a sack of weed.

A living wage is keeping equal to the cost of living. America's capitalists exporte the jobs you claim have gone missing.
There isn't 'still' enough decent paying jobs in America. I don't make up the facts Ray, your fellow Americans do and then they air them here.

You're starting to sound like you're ready to change over to promoting that everything is fine in America. It was expected.

And so what is a living wage? First we'll need to establish the location. In B.C. I would consider that to be perhaps $20-$30 an hour with benefits.

I take into consideration too, the wage necessary that can enable one parent to not work in families with children.

I tend to be optimistic based on what is good for the country. That also is considering an employer's ability to pay.

Well then, I suggest you come here and start a business. You find a company who doesn't pay a living wage, and when you open up your company, pay your employees whatever you consider a living wage. How much you want to bet your company will close down in less than a year?

My father is a retired bricklayer. His union is offering their retirees $500.00 if they can find young people to join the trade. They can't find young people willing to do the job. Yes, it's hard work, but it pays in the area of $50.00 an hour, and you go on unemployment all winter because you can't lay brick in the snow. The union can't find people that can pass a drug test to take these jobs.

My former career is in need of tens of thousands of drivers they can't find. There too you can make a pretty good living depending on what kind of work you're willing to do. We needed these drivers before, during and after covid. Still can't find them for anything. This was before the virus hit, but I kept it as an example of the kind of money you can make:

So don't tell me there aren't any good jobs here. We have plenty if you're energetic enough to do them.

You are sick.
The bank is not forgiving the debt that the owners of the property have to pay.

The problem with you fucked up Socialists is that you are fools and believe that everything is free.
You are completely out of touch with reality and will live your pathetic life a drain on society and never contribute.
After 40 years of giveaway to the rich and screwjob for everyone else, it is time to tax the rich their fair share and invest in Americans and America again cheap college in training to start with an infrastructure spending. And a living wage healthcare daycare paid parental leave and great vacations like every other modern country. There's 50 billion dollars out there that should be paid out to both landlords and renters. And we'll see what should be done but of course you have the God damn lying cheating GOP and it's brainwashed Base. Now mainly busy totally screwing up the pandemic reaction.

The wealthy will do what they've been doing for decades starting with the big union days, and that is move out of the country or invest in more automation to replace humans. Automation has taken more jobs from workers than any other action.

That is exactly why the government has to make a living wage so that everyone has to do it and scum-sucking bosses like yours can't get away with murder.

The banks too will soon learn that they are beholden to the people.
And the people are beginning to gain the power to take down that which made the banks so rich and powerful.

The banks too will learn that the American way of greed can't work forever.
Anarchy, the leftist way!

Not everyone needs to be paid a living wage. Not every job is worth a living wage rate.
Every other modern country has a living wage, brainwashed functional moron. It's called having some dignity. They all have health care and great vacations etc etc. You are the perfect chump of the greedy idiot gop. Change the channel.

If you are talking inability to repay a loan, that's been going on for generations. If you are talking about simply retaliating against the banking industry, you'll find few that would cast the first stone.

You people on the left live in your own make-believe world. But your make-believe ideas only work in your make-believe world and not in reality.

Forcing employers to overpay workers will only lead to layoffs, companies leaving the country, huge cost of living, more outsourcing, more automation investments.

Not every job is worth a living wage. Some are worth entry level wages. Designed for the young, still living at home as entry into the job market. 45 year old men supporting a family of four doesn't need to be a part time lifeguard at the pool. They don't need benefits but can get a little vacation time now and then. Dignity is in having that first job to begin with.
