Yale Professor Makes Midterm Optional for Students Upset by Trump Win - Breitbart

So many of today's college students have been raised by snowflake parents, in turn we have a nation of idiots who act like big babies when they don't get their way.
They only think Trump was a racist, rapist, etc because this is what MSM, FB, friends told them.
Thee dumb sob's have no idea wth they are even talking about let alone not realizing the bitch they were about to vote in would have turned this Nation into N. Korea.

Thank God the masses has more power than these idiots.

Why does it matter? Did you not take a basic government class? Do you not know about how the big states and small states, the urban states and rural states made a compromise on representation in the Republic?

Are you saying that you would prefer the tyranny of mob rule? Do you really believe that the interests of the urban areas of the nation should always drown out the interests of the rural areas? Is that what you are saying? Do you really believe that the rural areas of the nation deserve so little a voice in this government? Do you remember what happened last time the more urbanized areas overruled the agricultural and rural parts of the nation and the two sides refused to negotiate compromise?

Are you saying that compromise means nothing to you, and the tyranny of the majority is just fine with you? You do know where that road leads, right? Isn't a peaceful transition of power and the successful demonstration of it preferable?

I was addressing Penelope's assumption that it matters not whether Hillary garnered more votes, and had a higher number of popular support in the big cities across the nation.

Penelope was implying that it matters, when, in point of fact, at this point, it doesn't. We have a constitution designed to protect the interests of small rural farming communities, as well as larger urban centers. We are not a strict democracy, but a representative republic.

In regards to your article from Breitbart? Breitbart is trash political fluff. It is no better than HuffPo or MotherJones. It is only there to stir up hatred and divide the nation. It is a tool of political elites, and is no friend of the common people. It is one of the primary reasons that Trump is as hated as much as he is.

But what are you going to do? Folks get info here, so you have to address it.

Occasionally they have some good information. This is clearly a piece meant to stir hatred though. Garbage.

Dear MisterBeale and Penelope
Why not find a peaceful approach that doesn't negate or reject the election results but still ensures all votes count toward representation

The Greens recognize proportional representation by party. They also practice inclusion by consensus based decisions in their groups.

Why not combine these two?
Use the votes to determine the minority and third party interests per state that need representation

Then build coalitions between parties to work on solutions that DO represent the reforms and solutions they want to support.

Instead of protecting lack of equal representation, Why not use the given party organizations to set up a system to work alongside govt?

It matters to me on a different level in terms of assessing how much support from each state went to different sides or third parties. This can be used to organize representation by party to assist in working out policies and reforms so ppl of all political creeds are still represented and protected equally by law as our Constitutional standards require not to discriminate by creed.

Nice idea Emily, but you have just showed how completely clueless, or entirely idealistic you are, about how this system does, or should operate. The reforms you are proposing would require a Constitutional amendment. It would also require having the house be represented by party instead of district. That might not be good for the people that are used to contacting their congressperson, and would necessarily reduce the power of the small states. Go back to your history books and read about the GREAT COMPROMISE.

Why would either of these two parties EVER give up any power?

If you are over the age of 40, you may remember a time when Bill Clinton, HW Bush, and Ross Perot were in a presidential Debate. Ross Perot cost the establishments preferred candidate. He also upset the establishment. It made the establishment realize, that a very rich man, could, quite possibly, get into the system and shake things up.

So the Democrats, and Republicans, took control of the debates away from the League of Women voters, one of the most highly respected and non-partisan organizations in the nation, and colluded to make sure that third parties WOULD NEVER get on the ballot.

Likewise, the Democrats and Republicans in congress create impossible high hurdles for federal matching funds, and the two parties in the individual states make it very difficult for third parties to organize and get on the ballots.

On top of all this, the two major parties collude with each other behind closed doors in both the nation's capital, and at the CFR in NY. Often time, major politicians will switch sides one it is politically convenient.

No, there will be no allowing any other political idea's into the discussion, b/c the only thing that differentiates the two parties are tertiary issues like abortion, or gay rights, or HOW to invade and conquer that rest of the world, not IF we should have multiple military bases all over.

There will be no discussion about whether the FED policy is wise, or whether the TOO BIG TOO fail policy is correct.

Any discussions about REAL issues, are not to be had. This is why establishment Republicans and Democrats all hated Trump. OTH, the civil war going on in the intelligence community right now is not a good sign.

How do we know this isn't Trump's karma?

He admitted he would not readily accept if Clinton won

Now look who is not accepting his win

Is he reaping what he sows?

Try actually going to the link, and listen to it, that is why half you Trump haters have no freaking clue wth you even hate Trump ,
Trump haters are to lazy to go investigate information, they are to lazy to actually go read something because MSN, CNN didn't tell them this and that is why most Trump haters are down right idiots.
