How about we cut the government in 1/2. Instead of paying out 5 trillion dollars we only pay out 2 1/2 trillion, while taking in over 3 trillion? 60% of our Government's annual budget is spent giving citizens money in the form of Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, food stamps, child care, school lunches, welfare programs, and etc. This includes the administration of said money payments which is usually about ⅔ of ever dollar given.
