Defamation is illegal in 23 states and 2 U.S. territories. It has additionally been prosecuted in Iowa.

While it's rarely prosecuted, the level of defamation being committed by the MAGGOTS (i.e. MAGA Idiots), is certainly far beyond anything previous.

Defamation is different than just plain lying. Defamation is creating falsehoods that bring harm to a person or their reputation. Free speech means that government cannot stop you from speaking even if it's defamation. The government cannot bring charges against you for defamation, but the individual can sue you for damages done.
