"In the event of a no-deal Brexit, millers could face a £79-per-tonne tariff on wheat imports from the EU as the UK would be reverting to WTO rules," he added.

"This creates a lot of uncertainty for the milling industry as to how to cover off the exposure.

"Where we would usually just buy German or French wheat during a bad harvest we don't know yet what that's going to cost us in six months' time."

We werent told that the price of food would be going up. We were told that it would be coming down. Brexit trash are bigger liars than trump.

Maybe if you beg the French real well, they may take you back and care for you.

Don't worry einstein.
Every year in the usa it's a record harvest
The government tells us that to drive the price down
Your own article sez the price is going up because of shortages not because of brexit.

maybe the uk should invest in some pivots like we do in Idaho

Brexit is causing the price to go up because we will have to pay tariffs on what we import. In the EU we do not have to do this.Read the article dickhead.
