OMG I just watched Armegeddon...ok ok I know I am late to the party and for those that do not know I have no television or cable or jack shit because I choose to live in the middle of nowhere.

But that is oh my no reason on the planet for this bastardization of a song. We rented the movie. And I got this.

Leaving on a jet plane by this woman is the worst I have heard. I hate her to death. OMG this sucks big time.

Years ago some country singers made a 2-cassette set of Lynyrd Skynyrd tunes.

I got to the "B" side of tape 1 and heard the beginning notes of 'Free Bird'!!

I was like, "Hell YEA" and cranked it up

Guess who?

I threw both cassettes out the window
:puke:

Easy. Michael Bolton's version of "When a Man Loves a Woman." Excruciating. I defy anyone to listen beginning to end.

Meredith Baxter's "In My Life".
In fact, other then Elton John's version "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, everybody should simply stay away from ******* up the Beatles.

Easiest. Question. To. Answer. Ever.

Followed very closely by this:

And let's not forget this heap of crap:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk5yHDXWz5Y]Pat Boone pretty much spits in the face of every heavy metal fan who's ever lived by trying to cover Dio's "Holy Diver"[/ame]

I disagree - I think there is such thing as a good Beatles cover:

...but there are certainly plenty of BAAAAAAAAAD Beatles covers, too:

Here's one so horrible that it almost defies words:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RM_xvTaYavw]Paul Anka should have never left the house the day he thought it'd be a good idea to head to the studio to cover Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit"[/ame]

For the love of God:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m06GL9TMP0]Gee, Stryper, don't cha think you coulda been a good sport and just waterboarded us instead of trying to cover Black Sabbath's classic "Heaven and Hell"?!?!?[/ame]
