Scalia was a Constitutionalist - he supported the Constitution.

There are justices who follow the law and justices who believe they are the law.

What would a "moderate" be? A justice who occasionally follows the Constitution, like Lefty Roberts? As long as a case won't keep him from being invited to the chic Georgetown cocktail parties to hobnob with the Hollywood A List, he might support the Constitution.

I assume "moderate" to you is RBG or Kagan?
