Wonder why this 1970's show "Alice" doesn't catch on today with younger viewers?

Is the show really that dated? It was in syndication in 2007 but did not last that long and was yanked after a month. The last DVD release for the show was in 2013 and no word for any other releases.

How does a show like this not get released on DVD but shitty 70's shows like the ones below are complete on DVD?

Lol. I did originally write that the humor of the show was based on pot. But that was because I misread the title of your thread. I thought it was about "That 70's show"
So when I realized your thread is about the show "Alice" from the 70s, I changed it to something more appropriate.
