This year’s preliminary data, however, contained bad news for the economy: Employers added 501,000 fewer jobs Opens a New Window. than first estimated as of March 2019. It’s the biggest revision in almost a decade.

About two-thirds of the downward revisions stemmed from the retail, which had 146,400 fewer jobs, and leisure and hospitality industries, which had 175,000 fewer workers. Other industries, however, reported drops in employment as well. Manufacturing, construction and mining and logging also lowered their estimates.

The updated data mean the 223,000 average monthly job increase in 2018 — the best since 2015 and frequently touted by President Trump as evidence that his administration’s policies are helping the economy — dropped to about 181,000.
While not as robust, it still shows that job creation is expanding at a steady rate.
The Labor Department will update these revisions in February 2020.

Everything I have posted has been linked, documented and sourced.

Most telling is that I have exposed the fact that you simply swallow the Left's propaganda, cannot name a single book that has informed your views, and don't deny that you are a brain-washed government school victim.

What more is there to say....except: be gone.

This quote from the article is a concise summary of the parlous state of American diplomacy and influence: "The most powerful country in the world is being run by a sundowning demagogue whose oceanic ignorance is matched only by his gargantuan ego."
His incredibly chauvinistic, simplistic, myopic view of America is blinding him to the fact that America is not the force it once was. Other countries have simply progressed, and they can identify other options now, so all he is doing is isolating us.

I'm sure our allies are hoping for a return of a more mature America next November, but I do wonder what happens if he wins again. The number of other options will only increase, and they may near the end of their rope with this guy.

In your "simplistic, myopic," inbred view, does that include guaranteeing the world's worst state sponsor of terrorism having nuclear weapons, you dunce?

Saudi Arabia is the "world's worst state sponsor of terrorism" and if they get nuclear weapons it will be because Trump enabled it.

Sunni Muslims have been 100% of all suicide bombers and most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis.

Saudi Arabia exported extremism to Pakistan with the Jihadi terrorists they sent to support the CIA and the Taliban against Russia in Afghanistan in the 1970s and 1980s.

Unemployment was down to 3.9 percent in July. The S&P 500 stock index is up 6 percent since the Trump presidency, while the rest of the world's stock markets are down 6 percent. These are numbers any recent administration would boast about.

More notable are positive trends among subgroups that weren't doing so well before Trump took office. Former Obama administration chief economic adviser Jason Furman, writing for Vox, notes that in the past three years "recent wage growth ... at the low end of the wage scale" is stronger than growth among the higher-paid. Similarly, Bloomberg columnist and portfolio manager Conor Sen makes the point that job growth has been greatest among "goods-producing workers and the least-educated workers."

America has half a million fewer jobs than initially believed

America has half a million fewer jobs than initially believed
By Megan HenneyPublished August 22, 2019JobsFOXBusiness

You just demonstrated how gullible you are. Trump does even have to break a sweat to control your mind.

Trump's economic performance is not better than Obama's despite the tax cut and the burgeoning debt with current budget deficit heading to exceed $1 trillion. Trump's performance is about to hit the wall like a Trump golden shower.

"Trump's economic performance is not better than Obama's..."

Watch how deftly I prove you a lying imbecile...

Any praise for Obama is purely propaganda. The man is an incompetent ingrate....very much like you.

He inherited an average economy, and never improved it.

So says the Left-leaning Reuters:

The unemployment rate announced three days after his election was 6.5%....not particularly terrible. But it was the only economic news, and had Obama insisting we were suffering "the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression." Obama: U.S. in worst crisis since Depression - Reuters

Obama did a terrible job with his Democrat policies:

"...the economy was stagnating in 2016 after the weakest recovery from a recession since the Great Depression.

In fact, The New York Times itself described Obama's economy this way in August 2016: "For three quarters in a row, the growth rate of the economy has hovered around a mere 1%. In the last quarter of 2015 and the first quarter of 2016, the economy expanded at feeble annual rates of 0.9% and 0.8%, respectively. The initial reading for the second quarter of this year, released on Friday, was a disappointing 1.2%."

...GDP growth decelerated in each of the last three quarters of 2016."

And on January 27, 2017, after the government reported that GDP growth for all 2016 was a mere 1.6% — the weakest in five years —"

Your whole post speaks of your fear of your enemies in the world, so just surrender to them eh ??? Yes, we have enemies in this world still, and we will always have enemies until the Lord ends this thing. Surrendering our morals and values (what little we have left), to our undermining enemies over trade issues is an evil thing, but here we are. Repairing the damage over many decades looking back now, uh is an amazing thing.

What are the American's going to do about these school's, because they are blatantly indoctronating and intimidating the children once they leave the safety of their parents who ignorantly send them there ????

My granddaughter who is not even10 years old, came home saying that this Tom Styer is a good guy (when his ad came on TV), and that he should be voted for. Now I know she doesn't believe that or even think that, but once she went to school this year they got to her. Not sure if it's because of intimidation by other students or indoctronation by liberal teachers. All I know is that we have a huge problem in this country when it comes to this sort of thing in these school's now, and action needs to be taken from a legislative standpoint in order to restore order and freedom of thought in these school's again. Sending children into these environments is basically giving your children over to the evil one these days, and it's amazing how weak people have gotten over the years.

The propaganda/indoctronation machine is strong in this country now, and it really speaks to what was happening over the years looking back now.

That's why we're a home schooling family.

There was a time that many Democrats did not care for the way our foreign policy was going. How much we paid to the world so we could protect it. The WW2 era is ending and we do not want to admit it. We can continue much of the same policies but we need to get a few more coins from our overseas friends and competitors.
That's perfectly fair. But there is a significant difference between a mature, thoughtful change to our foreign policy and childish antagonism. Temperament matters. Behaviors matter. Particularly on the world stage. This man simply lacks the most fundamental temperamental capacity to deal with others (directly or indirectly) on an intelligent, dignified, respectful way.

There's nothing wrong with being intelligent or dignified or respectful. It's possible to be intelligent, dignified and respectful while still advancing an agenda at the same time.. Virtually every other world leader can manage it, and it's not asking too much to expect ours to, as well.

It's time to face it Mac … once a thinking leftist you've degenerated into just another mindless, dime-a-dozen Trump hater.
