I think you are making a typical mistake normal people make....you think that leftists and democrats want the same thing you want......cheap, reliable energy.

They don't.

The Perfect isn't the enemy of the good here.......the good is the enemy of the good.

The left and democrats don't want cheap, reliable, plentiful energy.....they think people are the problem...there are too many people, and they are destroying the planet....more, cheap, reliable energy would simply allow there to be more people...so when the democrats do things that seem fucking insane....like pushing energy that doesn't work, isn't cheap, and isn't reliable....that is the plan...less energy means less growth, economic as well as population...

Once you understand where they are coming from, what they do makes a lot more sense...
They need to die

Pipelines are.
Pipelines are usually buried underground and can easily be isolated to limit damage.

On a scale of 1 to 10 where an LNG tanker explodes being a 10. A pipeline attack was would rate about a .05!

Yeah.......being Putin's bitch is going to do wonders for Europe....
It works for Trump.

Do you think Putin will be going to The Miss Universe Pageant in November in Moscow – if so, will he become my new best friend?

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 19, 2013

President Donald Trump's son Eric told golf reporter James Dodson three years ago that the family's company got much of its funding to build its golf courses from Russia.

Dodson asked Donald Trump how he managed to secure funding for his courses, he said he had access to $100 million.

Dodson recalled that when he then asked Eric Trump to explain where the $100 million came from, Eric said the company wasn't relying on American banks for the funding because American banks had been reluctant to put money into golf courses after the recession.

"Oh, yeah," he said Eric Trump answered. "We've got some guys that really, really love golf, and they're really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time."

I don't get it. The russians stretched Nord Stream 2 to Europe and Europe immediately ran out of gas...
Are they pumping it out through this pipe?

The pipeline is not on line yet. The Germans have to certify it, which should be completed by the end of the year.

PG&E owns more than 100,000 miles of transmission lines, which it regularly inspects and maintains by cutting and trimming trees. With the planned clear cut width of 30 feet, the path of destruction could be considerable.

That would be much worse than the wildfires......right?

EU deputies voted and quickly recognized nuclear energy as green. History has repeatedly confirmed that frost always has a "wonderful" effect on Europeans. )))

The Russians have started filling the now completed NordStream2 pipeline with Natural Gas desperately needed in Western Europe, where winter approaches, gas prices have skyrocketed and there are serious shortages projected. Delivery of significant supplies have been delayed by U.S. sanctions, but Germany’s Conservative leadership under Merkel held the line against U.S. pressure. Significant new supplies of Russian gas will probably not arrive in Germany until mid-Winter as European regulators must still give a final OK.

Here are two relevant recent articles. The information in the following celebratory RT article is confirmed by other Western sources.

Nord Stream 2 pipeline begins filling with gas in preparation for pumping supplies to EU, operators say, as energy crisis worsens

***

Another article on the plight of England, whose own Conservative “Brexit” Party has followed U.S. (and Trump’s) leadership, but now faces much more serious shortages than Germany.

“The result of … various forces pressuring international energy markets has been a near 500% increase in domestic [UK] wholesale gas prices in the last year, forcing … the government to subsidize the production of vital industrial gases to protect the economy and food supply chain….

“The establishment of government-controlled strategic reserves of gas held in storage … could play an important role protecting countries like the UK from future price spikes. For example, the IEA requires its 30-member nations to hold the equivalent of 90-days oil imports in strategic reserve… No such policy exists for gas, which is dependent across Europe on commercial inventories …

“Several EU countries do have some regulation in the storage sector that requires minimum stocking levels, including Italy and France, but there is no centralized policy.

“This reliance on imports can only increase with the opening of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline…. With much lower transit costs than via Ukraine, gas from the pipeline will be essential if Europe's largest economy is to bridge the gap between renewables and fully phasing out its coal-fired power as part of the energy transition.”

It's funny now to read the forecasts of economic experts two or three years ago, that gas and oil will be bought less and less and their prices will become completely ridiculous. And with such intelligent faces, they all said this. As a result, the world lacks not only oil and gas, but even coal...

Senior Advisor on Energy Security at the US State Department Amos Hochstein:
"Russia should explain why it has not increased gas supplies to the European Union MORE than CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS after the occurrence of a shortage of natural fuel there"

Dudes, aren't you too brazen?
