I just bought a set for my wife's Ruger single six. They ain't cheap and they are a snap to install on the gun. Unscrew a single screw to remove and replace the Ruger front site and unscrew the tension on the rear site and punch out a pin and watch out for the spring. What a difference they make in sighting with the tube glass stuff green dots to outline the rear and the red dot on the front. The sights encourage an inexperienced shooter or even an old time lazy shooter to use the sights. A good investment.

I guess the concept is the same. When I was involved in NRA combat shooting years ago the hot product at the time was the Bomar Rib on a Smith. The sights were bigger and the rib kept the recoil down but instillation required gunsmithing. These sights (including the Truglo stuff) is a real breakthru in these old eyes but the front sight might be a bit fragile. .
