If Trump is actually convicted of this bogus "crime" after being impeached twice for equally bogus excuses, and made to sit in jail while another election is stolen, it will be proof positive that the communist left have completed our conversion to a police state while the GOP sat back for years and years and went right along with it, giving us lip service to fool us into thinking we actually had a real choice.

The only CHOICE here, like the way he does things or not, is the rapscallion Donald Trump who is the embodiment of what America really stands for.

Real Trump supporters are just going to be energized if the government convicts Trump. Either way they will still support him. Fortunately most voters are not addicted to Trumpism. They don't hate the government and believe in our judicial system.

BTW Trump is very unlikely to spend any time in jail. Most likely he'll be fingerprinted, swabbed for the state DNA database, and photographed for a mugshot. But he probably won't be "perp walked" before the cameras, and handcuffs. Unlike other perps he will go before a judge almost immediately, plead not guilty and be released. The most likely charges are falsifying a number of governments which are low level felonies which could add up to a few years in jail. However, it is likely that if convicted he will be release on probation. Politically, he will come out of this stronger with his base. Whether he gets convicted or exonerated, he will no doubt proclaim it a victory.

If he gets indicted in federal count, the charges will likely be much more serious.

Yes, if proven guilty, but I doubt he will go to jail. That doesn't mean he shouldn't. Anyone who commits an illegal act needs to be punished accordingly, just like any of us who may be proven guilty and convicted.

Pretty much, unless somehow this Bragg guy is a super-magician who will find an actual legitimate crime(s) on the books that others have been successfully and cleanly charged and convicted with that somehow, every other state and federal DA, agency, committee, and legal expert in the country who has feverishly combed through Trump's underwear drawer for the past seven years straight looking to try to hang him with has never managed to know about or think was legitimate enough to carry forward with!

They will fingerprint him and photograph him because it is required by law. He is not going to be handcuffed nor do the perp walk as is normally done. And he's going to be arrange immediately and released. Typically a perp will be handcuffed and do the perp walk where he can be photograph in handcuffs on the way to a jail cell where he will be held for up to 72 hours waiting for an arraignment hearing. I don't think Trump should be treated any different than any other perp accused of multiple criminal misdemeanors and probably one or more felonies.

I think this trial will be just a warm up for the main event in a federal court, which may include inciting a riot, insurrection, mishandling classified documents, , a violation of the espionage, and obstruction of Justice, act.....
