Will the United States again respect Science?

There is real science and there is democrat science. Only a fool would take democrat science seriously.
You are free to persist in your hyper-partisan denial of science and believe that anthropogenic climate change is a Chinese hoax if that is what your dogma dictates, but it is becoming less of a political matter in the U.S. with the rise of better-educated younger Americans as a percentage of the nation's demographics:

Even though 97% of scientists agree that the climate is warming due to human activities, doubts among the general public run strong. Sadly, many times this has come down to a partisan issue - 72% of Democratic and Democratic leaners believe that human action is greatly contributing to climate change, vs. 22% of Republicans and Republican leaners. But gradually, this is changing, especially among the young. More and more people are seeing climate change as a scientific, ethical, and moral issue rather than a political one. Many Republicans are realizing what an important issue climate is - for this election and the future - and in some instances, the partisan divide is gradually beginning to fade.

Maybe climatology should stop telling us the world is going to end, simply to get funding and/or political gain.
When did "climatology" ever tell you that?

Politicians must be informed by science, not wallow in denial whilst spouting crackpot notions such as climate change being a Chinese hoax. Even the most obdurate ideological dogmatist does not deny geology, physics, astronomy, biology, etc., etc., etc.

Why have some felt compelled to make up crap about immunology and climatology?

Exactly. Democrat[ic] (sic) science is presented in popular magazines alongside women's fashion, and the dudes in the white coats and stethoscopes are demanding more respect than the ladies in that district.
Regardless of your personal source material, climatologists overwhelmingly concur (although failed casino operators and faded reality-tv performers may differ.)

Multiple studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals show that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists agree: Climate-warming trends over the past century are extremely likely due to human activities. In addition, most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position. The following is a partial list of these organizations, along with links to their published statements and a selection of related resources...

Seems to me that you are a bit butt-hurt over the fact that people are having no problem 'deciding their gender'--and that it's those choices that have your panties in a bunch.
I don't give a hoot what people decide about their gender and sexual orientation--yeah..it seems a bit weird..and even humorous...but it impacts my life not at all.

But it does affect other peoples lives. In Slow Joe's agenda (and you can find this on his web page) he plans to force public schools to allow guys in dresses to compete in female athletic activities. That means if you have a daughter in school with athletic talents, she will not get that trophy that she worked so hard for. It means she will be cheated out of such a great memory when she gets older. It may even mean losing a college scholarship.

I guess you're okay with guys being in the bathroom with your wife or daughter when they take a shower at the spa.

Not when libs get their hands on it

there is no science behind 20-something snowflakes freaking out because they think the world is going to end due to global warming

they are nuts

but that's what the lib teachers have been telling them since they were toddlers

Ideological dogma appears to have polluted some minds.

Those howling at the scientific consensus concerning anthropogenic climate change may soon have to move on and deny electricity or gravity.

I’m a conservative Republican and I believe climate change is real. It’s time for my fellow Republicans in Congress to stop treating this environmental threat as something abstract and political and recognize that it’s already affecting their constituents in their daily lives.
If we don’t change our party’s position soon, our voters will punish us.
It is well past time for Republicans to recognize the increasing costs and dangers associated with a changing climate. Scientific data empirically substantiates rises in sea and land temperatures which have materially increased over the past 20 years, increased acid in our air and seas, and rising sea levels, which have also increased velocity over the past 25 years. In the past few years, the U.S. alone has experienced record-breaking tornadoes and flooding, devastating hurricanes, and expansive wildfires. The doubling of the deep ocean heat content in the past 20 years portends significantly more severe storms and hurricanes in the future, creating more and more calls for “disaster relief.”

You nutters and your imagined crystal ball fantasies.

Trumpism is a stain on our history. I will not miss it. The future is the future, and you can't predict it.

To some degree you can. All it takes is a little common sense; something you leftists have very little of. This isn't rocket science. When you take out a President that's done such a great job in this country, and replace him with a guy who has been in federal politics nearly a half-century, never accomplished a single thing, associated with an FBI investigation, likely suffers from dementia, you don't need a crystal ball to predict the outcome.

When I read these climate change posts, all I can think of is a school in about 100 years from now. The teacher tells her students that a hundred years ago, man actually thought they could control the climate, and the children bust out in laughter the way we did when our teacher told us man once thought the earth was flat, and if you go to far, you'll fall off.

Do you know why they changed it to Climate Change from Global Warming? It's because they proved global warming was nothing but a myth. So they came up with this great climate change plan. Why climate change? Because nobody could then call them a liar. The climate is changing, and it has been since God made the place. It's not something humans have the capability to control.

We exist in different realities. Nothing I can do about that.

I on the other hand, am directly descended from God.
So you're nuts, eh? Okay.

And you're pond scum. God gave me dominion over you.
Sorry son...i am a grown man. I don't believe in your imaginary friends.

Not quite. You might have evolved into a full-grown ape but we descendants of God still have dominion over you. Lower forms of life are only suitable for being made into pets, or to be eaten.
One expects auch delusions of grandeur from the childish mind of a religious person who thinks he must be special, and so he invents a special sky daddy that tells him he is special. Adorable!

Poor thing. Let us all know when science can even come close to proving that we get something from nothing. I know, they are hoping that one day they may be able to figure out that little tidbit, until then, they will just continue finding puzzle pieces that fit together to prove their preconceived notions.

There is only science. It is non-partisan and non-political..at least..until the politicians and partisans get a-hold of it.

Republican 'science' is not a good look either...climate change deniers are among some of the stupidest people I've ever met.
Talk about science? You figured out your DNA yet?
"figured out my DNA'..now there's a stumper..wtf are you talking about?
Seems like liberals cannot decide on their gender. Just wondering about you.

I don't give a shit what gender you think you are, so long as the law doesn't compel me to seccumb to your delusions. New York made it illegal not to use a person's prefered pronounse. Fuck that. If I want to call you "he" or "him," that's my choice. If you don't like it, you're free to have a hissy fit, but you don't get to put me in jail, at least not in a rational sane country.

By "better educated" you mean "more thoroughly brainwashed." The 97% thing is a well-known hoax. The fact that you refer to it only shows that you're an ignorant dumbass.

Yep.

It would have been a different story if we had reelected this buffoon. But we woke up and corrected our fuckup immediately.

And that applies to several different issues. We will recover from this much faster, since it only lasted four years. The stain has only had so much time to set in.
Trump can still tweet to his adoring lickspittles that ingesting disinfectants is the cure for climate change if he wants to.

Elsewhere, science will be the guide.

Trump's surrendering global leadership by absconding from the Paris Climate Agreement is not irrevocable, but the damage has been done. Trump decided to align the U.S. with international pariahs Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Libya, Angola, Sudan, Yemen, and Eritrea, rather than be a leader among the overwhelming consensus of nations.

I do think it would have been significantly worse if we had re-elected him, doubling down on our worst behaviors and impulses, proving them to be true.

When a person or group or country immediately recognizes their mistake and corrects it, it's human nature to give them another shot. Especially when it had formerly been the most trusted and depended-upon country in the world. The rest of the world was worried but hopeful, and we didn't let them down.

court is a court, seems like you have trouble with language.
Seems you have trouble discerning lawsuits from science. But you are a Trump cultist. You understand nothing until Great Leader describes it. And he understands nothing, so....

Here we go again with lefties acting as if they are high and mighty because they chose to stay in school their entire lives to “teach” and make less money than those of us that “do”. Look, many scientists are in an academic setting. They are children. They have been throughly indoctrinated. They have no desire to be a contrarian if it threatens their funding. In the case of Climate Change, there is WAY too much money to be had to challenge the theory. They would be ostrisized by their fellow indoctrinated colleagues, no matter how compelling the evidence they submit may be. The actual science doesn’t matter one bit. Putting food on the table is what matters and it is all funded by the elites pushing a globalist agenda. I don’t even think most scientists recognize they are being manipulated. They are innocent in the sense that they are ignorant of the real agenda and even the real data, which has also proven to be manipulated.
