The non Muslim world should be made aware of just what is happening to Christians when they are the minority in a Muslim country. It appears that there are even Muslims speaking out against what is happening to Christians.

Dr Martin Parsons: Will the persecution of Christians continue to spread in 2014?

By Martin Parsons

In the last few months, the persecution and partial eradication of ancient Christian communities in the Middle East has been debated by both MPs and peers. As Mark Field MP stated during December’s Commons debate:

Let us be honest: if this were happening to almost any other religious group it would be something of a national scandal. That makes it all the more important to put the ongoing persecution of Christians in many parts of the world on the political map.

Significantly, it is not just Christians who have begun to speak out on this issue, but also Muslims with King Abdullah of Jordan having convening a conference on the issue last September, while in the UK both Sayeeda Warsi and Rehman Chisti, the MP for Gillingham, have similarly voiced concern. Baroness Warsi warned in both a Daily Telegraph article and a major speech in the USA that violence against Christians is putting the very survival of Christianity in the Middle East at risk.

WHAT "persecution of Christians"?

How can you possibly claim such a thing?

We all know that Islam is a religion of peace and understanding which accept the beliefs of all who live within its realm.

Just because tens of thousands of people are driven from their homes, the women raped, the children beheaded, and churches razed to the ground cannot possibly have anything to do with Islam.

You are clearly an evil Islamaphobe and should be removed from this forum.

my honest and ---somewhat, pessimistic, opinion is-------as islamic countries
develope NUCLEAR CAPABILITIES-----muslims will become increasingly emboldened
to commit atrocities against ------"kaffirin" of any stripe

Remember the pakistani schmuck who tried to do a car bomb on TIMES SQUARE----
sorry---I do not recall his name and too lazy to google----a young male
was eager to make his mark in the world of the UMMAH and to excite
its females by doing a CAR BOMB----saturday nite in TIMES SQUARE
If you have never been to Times Square on a saturday nite----the significance
would be lost to you-------DENSE WITH PEOPLE (uhm ---at least half of
them jews----jews love theatre) -----a really nice car bomb could kill hundreds---
even a thousand ) Well the JOYOUS DEED IN THE NAME OF ISA/ALLAH---
was foiled----the bomb did not work----HOWEVER ---I have no doubt that the
fact that there does exist a HOLY BOMB FOR ALLAH in pakistan is actually
that which propped the would be murderer ever loving heart.

as to Iran-----I do not believe Iran will drop a nuclear bomb on anyone----
it will simply create a sense of POWER in the alpha ape mindset of the
Jihadist pigs over there
