I'm confident that the GOP will keep the Senate, but reluctant to make the same prediction regarding the House. It's a toss up.

That said, if the Democrats take both the House and Senate, they will lame duck Trump in 2019 & 2020 like they lame ducked Bush in 2007 & 2008, possibly with similar economic consequences.

One market based index I saw yesterday was putting the probability of the Dems winning the Senate higher than most people are predicting. This same index also put the odds of Trump winning the Presidency at 43% in 2016, higher than almost every model. FWIW

McConnell hasn't said that "entitlements" (Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid) have to be "dealt with" to pay for the tax cuts he just enacted (of which 87% goes to the top 1%)?
