Why will Romney win the debates against Obama?

Romney can't even be specific in his own campaign. Last week he said he would repeal Obamacare and that he liked parts of Obamacare and keep those parts. Then he said he didn't like the parts he said he like and would repeal it all.

That's just one topic, in one week and you think he will be specific?

The Governor had 3 chances to stem the Obama surge and regain the narrative; the VP selection, the convention, and these upcoming debates. He misfired on the first one, was upstaged by an octagenarian debating a chair on the second one, and will more than likely draw neutral on the third one if not losing outright. Usually when you go to the batters box knowing you have to hit a home run, you perform badly. I predict that will happen.

The good news for the Governor (if you can call it that) is that Obama is going in playing defense and won't have the long knives in front of him to pounce on what will be the Governor's mishaps.

At this level, all Obama has to do is run out the clock on the answers and walk away with a draw. The Governor needs a knockout and he'll be exposing his chin quite a bit. I hope our President doesn't swing.

Republicans keep saying Romney will win the debates vs Obama. Why? What has Romney shown you to make you think he will beat Obama in the debates?

Nothing. It's just wishful thinking on their part. And they are not good with accepting reality.
