Why Washington Is the Best State in America

Maybe thatā€™s a good thing. If they canā€™t afford it move to Seattle.
It Might be a good thing, except it's taxpayers moving out and tax consumers moving in.
This is unregulated capitalism. As the Libertarians will tell you don't worry about it. Let the market decide. If you can't afford to live in California don't. Sounds like you all wish you could live in California but you can't afford the taxes so if you are not a tax payer move on.

There is currently a mass exodus from California. Texas and Florida are taking in those folks and corporations.

oh i did not need too?....that seems like you know that people from that area moved there ....like you did and then you moved away after you got what you came for...
I moved there with my family, knothead, and lived there for well over forty years. It's hardly like we came and sucked California dry and then moved on.
I went to school there, worked there, bought and sold multiple homes and paid my state taxes there. And when I retired early, so I could leave a state that had become hopelessly corrupt and degraded I moved on, like so many other Californians.
Just how stupid are you, anyway?
Did California suddenly become corrupt so suddenly you decided to move away? Or did you rack up enough in that state so you could afford to retire early but only if you moved away?

What state did you move to? Why didnā€™t you work in that state? Because that state doesnā€™t have jobs that pay as well as you made in California.

Hey I donā€™t blame you for cutting and running. I would to.

I kno there are lower tax states than Michigan but Iā€™m not going to move to a red state when I retire so I can save money. That would suck. But if I do Iā€™m not going to cry about how taxes drove me out. Or maybe I will. Like Trump I might move to Florida or at least make Florida my primary residency.

I spent the last 2 weeks traveling through out central America and the west coast.

It was an eye opener.

Yes they have low taxes. They also have empty ghost towns. Their roads are a mess in fact the road in Arizona destroyed a little over 4 month old tire on my car. It literally blew up on that horrible road.

The cities are dirty and depressed. They don't tax the people properly so they don't have the money to properly run their state. They've taken what little tax dollars they collect from the rural areas and spent it on the urban cities. Which are better off than the rural areas but compared to California and Washington, those cities are a total mess. Their roads are a mess. You have to pay tolls just to drive on the roads.

Every time I go to a red state it reminds me how lucky I am to live in a blue state and am very happy to pay the taxes.

We actually get something for paying those taxes. Our rural small towns aren't all run down and dying. Our cities are growing by leaps and bounds.

Not paying much in taxes has left those red states in a horrible mess which makes me very happy I live in Washington were we at least close to properly tax the people of our state so it's not a run down and poverty stricken mess like so many red states.

The blue states I went through had road projects to rebuild the roads. The red states didn't.

The minute I crossed over from Arizona to California it was like a miracle. Interstate 40 immediately became flat and smooth. I was no longer bouncing down the road as I drove. Apparently the red states I went through don't know how to make a flat smooth road for people to drive on. So they have to regularly spend money on new tires, alignments on their cars and other repairs caused by driving on those horrible roads. The tow trucks and car mechanics are making a bunch of money but most everyone else isn't because their wages are so depressed and low.

As my mom used to say "you get what you pay for." In the case of red states and taxes, you don't get what you don't pay for. As in you get nothing but a polluted run down dirty mess that people are abandoning.
Wow what a moron. Hard to believe anyone could write something so stupid.

The people on the East side of the Cascades are good Conservatives. The people on the West side are batshit crazy Moon Bats.

Washington, like Oregon, should be two states divided by the mountains.

Maybe Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon could be one state and then the stupid Moon Bats can have the other area.
This sums everything up very nicely.
Seattle has always been a leftist enclave going back to the 1920s and 30's but today it's grown on steroids
and the new violent left until you should get a mental exam if you try to move there now.

Crime is through the roof. The woke fools breed there like rats in a sewer. Evergreen College in Olympia should be condemned, torn down and turned into a golf club or mall.

You are confused.

Those countries are backwards because they are populated by shitheads.

Nobody in the US would mind paying for roads and sewer and water supply and all the other really necessary things we need. There are a few necessary functions of government like defense, courts and police.

What we Conservatives in the red states don't want to pay for is all the other wasteful crap the stupid Libtards think we need like welfare, entitlements and worthless bureaucratic agencies that don't do jackshit.

We sure as hell don't want to be taxed so much and get so little. Big government sucks the life out of us.

It is a shame. Both Seattle and Portland were beautiful cities.

Liberals fuck up absolutely everything they touch.

I know. One of my favorite wrestlers moved to Texas. Beautiful community. But after 6 months they got bored and moved back to LA. Said they missed it even though it was so expensive. And they make a lot of money.

No comparison to the life you live in Texas compared to California. LA is happening. San Antonio is not.

what a croc of shit.....California has a lot of shitty roads.....
Amen. I lived there for thirty years. I should know.

Washington IS the best state in the union, in my opinion. But they have a jackass governor and the fools
in the Seattle metro area are pushing their brainless woke Marxist b.s. on the rest of the state through
the leftist legislature.

It will wind up a wasteland like California too in time. The fascist authoritarian socialists will spread their
disease everywhere if not resisted.
Notice Bezos isn't dying to move his centers to red states? He wanted to be in NY to be close to where it's all happening. I'm sure California is the same. Amazon wants to be in California so bad not rural states with low populations.

This is why your children move away from you when they graduate college. There are no jobs in the Red states they grew up. They have to go to California to work. Then will move back home after 30 years and complain about California. They will literally bite the hand that fed them.

USNWR? Not only does US News-world report not cover actual news, it doesn't even publish anymore. My guess is that Washington State paid the blog to be a cheer leader since the bad publicity of constant riots and a headquarters for radical groups like OWS. I had occasion to visit Seattle a couple of years ago and was shocked at the once beautiful parks taken over by junkie drunk squatters. I expect it's even worse today.
You guys never like the source unless it's Fox News. Even then if the news isn't favorable to your position you'll cry fake news. Remember Fox didn't back Trump one time and he went on and on about how they suck?

Unfortunately I'm seeing a lot of California license plates here in Arizona as well. Ugh. Oh well, at least they are driving up the home values.
People who work in California but then leave when they retire are like illegals. They work hard here so one day they can move back to their shitholes and live in comfort from all the money they made in California.

yea thats why they move bobo....sometimes you post some pretty clueless shit....how far west have you ever been?...

50 years ago I spent four months in a village called Levenworrh on the eastern side of the Cascades. I used ro take weekend trips to points east all the way to Spokane for rodeos. Back then that was mostly Redneck country.

Shit...you can't even go into the mountains to go camping without finding trash and needles all over the place...try and find parking at any Walmart...good luck lots are filled with homeless RVs....the cities are spilling over into the wilderness.....plus if it ever stops raining its a rare day.....no thanks...all the hippies went there in the 70's and their drug addicted kids run the place.....

You've a got a pretty big bug up your ass when it comes to people who leave California in the dust
for places like Idaho, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Montana, etc. All the places you seem to hate and
despise. That's called voting with your feet.

Maybe if California wasn't a dystopian hell run into the ground by incompetent, crooked autocrats
who flood their state with illegals because they need to exploit cheap compliant workers you
wouldn't see California in so many people's rear view mirrors.

I lived in California for decades and am glad to be out. One of the very best parts of California, by
the way in one of California's most glamorous and prestigious industries.

Great climate and natural beauty can't make up
for the way the state has been degraded and turned into a cheap seedy whore for the left.
Take care of that bug. I'd hate for you to get a stroke over the way California's stock has
fallen so low with so many people.

My grandparents lived in Seattle and we would drive over the mountains and visit them several times
every year. They lived in one of those old time neighborhoods on a hill that looked down on the sound.

We would barbecue clams and corn on the beach, something impossible to do now.
We would walk down along the waterfront and dine at Ivars without fear of being shot or robbed.
We also took the ferries out to the San Juan Islands and enjoyed whale watching.

It all seems like an impossible dream now. Seattle is a filthy, crime and drug infested hell run by
Marxist pigs what hate America. Maybe at some point in the future the people will rise up and throw off their
leftist made shackles and chains. Maybe.

In your or his opinion. San Antonio is a great place and a music center. More people are moving to San Antonio than LA.

This is LA "happening". Not what everyone calls "happening".
