I was looking over this article, about the deadliest mass shootings in our nation's history. It lists the fourteen deadliest incidents, going back to 1966; and it stood out right away to me that nearly half of them have occurred during the time that Obama has been in office as President—six in the less than eight years that Obama has been President, compared to eight in more than forty years before that. Total deaths in such incidents, 129 in the time that Obama has been in office, 146 in the more than forty-years before that.

There is something fishy, here.

I've got a number of guesses to make, but at this point, I'm not going to come out and express any of them just yet.

What does everyone else think? Why is there so much higher a rate of this kind of incident, since Obama has been President, than there was before?

ISIS. They weren't around when Bush was president, but both had some pretty horrific terrorist attacks and shootings.

I'm so glad I remember you said this back in 2016. So, if it was Obama's fault in 2016, then it's Trump's fault today

The number of mass shootings across the U.S. so far in 2019 has outpaced the number of days this year, according to a gun violence research group. This puts 2019 on pace to be the first year since 2016 with an average of more than one mass shooting a day.

In Trump's own words, it's his fault this is happening.

Does anyone remember when we had a string of school shootings in 2016-17?

Yes Republicans wrongfully blamed Obama. I just hope today they can be fair and assign blame to Trump the same way they blamed Obama. But they won't. They hold the black man to a higher standard.

Actually, the fact is mass shootings have risen to levels that surpass Obama, quite handedly.

Trump is a pig who was instrumental in the recent mass murder in their town. They don't want him there. I can't blame them.

So was Elizabeth Warren instrumental to the shooting in Dayton?
No.

Obviously, but I would LOVE to see Bulldips logic implicating Trump on one and exonerating Warren in the other.
Because trump has made insidious remarks about Mexicans and immigrants and the El Paso shooter reflected some of those attitudes in his manifesto and in his online support for trump and his wall.

While on the other hand, we don't even know the motive behind the Dayton shooter, no less to tie it to Warren when I haven't seen anyone post remarks she made that set him off.

Trump has made remarks about mexican criminals and illegal immigrants, which progressives have constructed into blanket statements (false) for their own political gain.

And below is his support for Warren for President. That's enough for me to say she's linked to his massacre, because, well because progressive rules say I can make crap up as I go along.

NEW: The Dayton Shooter Was a Satanist, Leftist-Socialist, and Bernie/Warren Fan, Supported Antifa

On the Twitter page, Connor Betts indicated he’d vote for Elizabeth Warren for president but not Kamala Harris, responding to a person’s tweet suggesting they be co-presidents. “Nahh, but only cuz Harris is a cop – Warren I’d happily vote for,” he wrote.

Obama's election unleashed the ocean of hate that had been breeding in campuses across America

Yeah, Obama should have never ran for president.
The concept of having a dark skinned man leading the United States for 8 years, really drove small-minded bigots over the edge.
Obama should have never been president, because when he took the oath, he made the American Dream appear to be available to all people.
Something like a world that's like Heaven:
Revelation 7:9
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

Obama worked with churches to bring back closed steel mills in chicago

he understands the quiet dignity of poor folks in times of tragedy

Only when you lie about what a mass shooting is. These stats you quote are counting gang related killings as mass shootings. Which they aren't.

Maybe he was a racist you know what I honestly hope that we have a civil war within and I’m not saying republicans should go stupid and attacking because if you do you are not to smart but I think that we as Americans should have a one big fight because we are arguing about something that a person did and omg trumps fault. Shut up and blame the shooter or keep it to yourself

I didn't lie, I posted an article that was up front with their methodology.
Originally it used the FBI’s standard definition: “A mass shooting is a single attack in a public place in which four or more victims were killed.” Then a 2013 federal mandate lowered that fatality threshold to three,
What Is A Mass Shooting? And Does Chicago's Gang Violence Apply?

I find it ironic, that you freely accuse someone of lying, yet you eagerly goose-step behind a documented and proven pathological liar. I bet you would never buy a used car from anyone you knew that lied at a rate of 10% of Trump's number of lies.

I'm curious how they will spin it differently now that Trump is "leadership".

They have to admit they were full of shit when they wrote this about Obama. Either that or they have to admit today it is Trump's fault.

But what Republicans will do is find any differences between the situation then and now and try to focus on those small insignificant differences. Fact is, Obama went on TV and had empathy for black men being murdered by cops. Does that mean he's responsible if some black guy agrees with him and goes out and kills some cops? I don't think so. But what Trump has said absolutely riled up all the crazies who have lately gone on rampages. These murderers have even liked his tweets. They are his followers.

Lets ask the police if Obama was wrong

After the conclusion of President Barack Obama’s town hall meeting Thursday evening, where he addressed race and policing in America, The Undefeated’s senior writer Lonnae O’Neal and ABC’s senior legal correspondent and analyst Sunny Hostin spoke to attendees to gauge their reactions to the president’s responses. Though questions were asked primarily by the family members of victims who were killed by police officers this year, many officers in attendance felt the president’s answers were balanced on both sides of the issue.
