Why so many Americans still deny racism exists when the evidence is everywhere

Of course racism exists. Of course bigotry exists. No land is perfect.

Hell's bells I just about passed out when I was on a huge deal with my husband over Saturn in Dearborn. We're in this beautiful hotel in a lineup for breakfast and I'm josshin with this young black man who was chef du jour that morning. I was watching him do an omellette. And he was helping me out (tell you later how he turned me into the best omellette lady on the planet) and this woman started charging at us.

Holy toledo!!!!!!!!!! She called him a ****** right in front of us. She called him a ******. Well that wasn't going to hold well with my bosses wife and I. It got nasty really quick. That was wrong. Big time wrong. She hurt herself walking out of the breakfast bar. I do believe she tripped. eerrrrrrrrrrrrrr fell. tripped.

Of course racism is still out and about. But we have to have the love and the caring to call it out and not let that shit happen man.

Of course human being's have implicit racial bias. This is not a bad thing in of itself. Social strain and distrust between ethic/racial groups always emerges in multiracial societies. This is why such societies aren't tenable in the long run as history shows and shouldn't be artificially imposed through mass immigration and forced desegregation.

Organically homogenous societies are always favorable in maintaining social capital. You can have community or diversity, you can't have both.

These words belong only to tinydance, "I don't get you guys at all that keep screaming how bad America is. I really don't."

I have no trouble talking about America's cream complexion with the zits.

We are not particularly exceptional when we don't follow the Constitution.

Tell that to Germans and Americans in the summer of 1945.

Racism does, indeed, exist.

You are racist.

I am racist.

Every other contributor to these forums is racist.

Some of us know it.

Some of us do not.

Some of us consciously battle against it, internally.

Some of us embrace it and revel in it.

Ditto for societies.

Some deal with it adequately, and some do not.

Very few, if any, attain Nirvana in such matters, so to speak.

As ethnically diverse countries go, with a segment or two brought here involuntarily and enslaved for some centuries, some centuries ago, we don't do so bad.

There's always room for improvement, and we've still got a fair ways to go, but we're off to a decent start now, and getting better all the time.

So long as we don't rest on our laurels and become overly-complacent about our role and progress to date, we should turn-out OK in this regard, so... watchful is the word, but no cause to freak out or abandon what we're doing.

I dont think anyone denies there is still racism. Most just dont give a damn anymore because it seems to apply to every problem under the sun.
Then let's talk honestly and come up with fair workable solutions that marginalize racialists of the left and right.

Folks deny it here all the time, Perez, or it is the other guys' faults.

That's simply not so.

Your link proves my point that multicultural/multiethnic society is untenable and full of social costs.

Is World War Two your example of multiple ethnic groups in a society working? Are you serious?

World War II was the result of a shared social consensus, which your champion, that dehumanized scores of millions of people, and it led to the killing of fifty million.

Your word is not desired, Steinlight.

The real racism only exists with the left using race as either an excuse for bad behavior or as the reason for any behavior that happens. Racism in real life is pretty minimal. But as a political tool it's been effective and gets people worked up so the left really won't let go of it. Every race problem that has become a big deal in the past is brought on by left wing assholes. And even when proven wrong they still won't let go of the narrative and actually try to make the investigator's racist because they won't prosecute based on their racist idea's.

The remnants of racism are small but a life line of the left. The left are the ones that need, thrive and must promote racism in every situation they possibly can. The left are the most racist people in the country. The rest of us have moved on to "Judge a man by his character".

Yes racism is alive and well...and its mostly from blacks who hate other races.
